Proč dva plánovače hodnotí stejné auto jinak
Stejné auto, stejná trasa, stejný den. Jedna aplikace říká tři zastávky a šest hodin, druhá dvě zastávky a pět. Žádná z nich nelže – neshodují se ve věcech, které jsou skutečně nejisté.
Předpokládají různé rychlosti
Aerodynamický odpor roste s druhou mocninou rychlosti a výkon potřebný k jeho překonání s třetí mocninou. Rozdíl mezi 110 km/h a 130 km/h tedy neznamená dvacetiprocentní rozdíl ve spotřebě; je mnohem větší. Plánovač, který předpokládá, že pojedete na limitu, a ten, který předpokládá, že budete jezdit pod ním, modelují dvě odlišné cesty.
Většina nástrojů umožňuje toto nastavit, ale většina lidí to nikdy neudělá. Pokud se dva plánovače neshodují a můžete zkontrolovat jen jednu věc, zkontrolujte předpokládanou rychlost.
Modelují křivku nabíjení odlišně, nebo vůbec
Lithium-iontový akumulátor přijímá vysoký výkon při nízkém stavu nabití a se zaplňováním se rychle snižuje [3]. Praktickým důsledkem je, že posledních dvacet procent nabití může trvat stejně dlouho jako prvních padesát, takže optimální strategií je obvykle více zastávek, každá kratší, než méně zastávek delších.
Plánovač, který toto správně modeluje, vytvoří itinerář, který vypadá neefektivně – čtyři zastávky místo dvou – a přesto vás dopraví na místo dříve. Plánovač, který nabíjení považuje za konstantní rychlost, vytvoří uhlazenější plán, který je ale chybný.
Neshodují se v otázce počasí
Chlad snižuje využitelný dojezd a zároveň zpomaluje rychlost, jakou akumulátor přijímá nabíjení [4]. Oba efekty působí ve stejném směru a plán postavený na spotřebě za mírného počasí může selhat způsobem, který malá rezerva na chybu nepokryje.
Toto je oblast, kde má rozdíl mezi plánovači největší dopad, a proto tabulka funkcí považuje modelování počasí za klíčovou funkci, nikoli za pouhou příjemnou vlastnost.
Neshodují se v tom, jak vystrašení byste měli být
Rezerva při příjezdu – kolik nabití plánovač trvá na tom, abyste měli při dosažení zastávky – není fyzikální veličina. Je to zásada. Nástroj nastavený na příjezd s 10 % a nástroj nastavený na příjezd s 20 % vytvoří ze stejných vstupů výrazně odlišné itineráře, a žádný z nich není chybný.
Strach z nedojetí je dobře zdokumentovaným faktorem, který ovlivňuje skutečné chování řidičů, odlišným od toho, co auto skutečně dokáže [5]. Plánovač, který vám umožní toto nastavit, vám dává možnost ocenit vlastní nervy, a to je správné místo, kde by toto rozhodnutí mělo padnout.
Co s tím dělat
- Nastavte předpoklad rychlosti na to, jak skutečně jezdíte, ne na to, jak jezdit zamýšlíte.
- V chladný den plánujte s pesimističtějším nástrojem a optimističtější berte jako nejlepší možný scénář.
- Důvěřujte plánovači, který vám dává více kratších zastávek, více než tomu, který vám dává méně delších.
- Přeplánujte trasu v průběhu cesty, nikoli jen na začátku. Do té doby se totiž změnily všechny vstupní hodnoty.
